Panic attacks

Joan suffered panic attacks. Whilst it was immediately clear that a number of underlying issues needed to be addressed, the panic attacks were of immediate concern. Very quickly, Joan was taught to use techniques to bring them under control, and after demonstrating to herself that she could control them, they disappeared, and the underlying issues were then able to be addressed.
